School Story:
BA, Business Admin from Baylor University class of 1980 (with minors in Religion, Psychology & Sociology). Prepping for full time ministry… but God had other plans for us.
Married the love of my life, Kathy Palumbo, Sep ‘81 in Houston.
Our daughter, Megan, was born in ‘82 with a lot of special needs. She still lives with us since she needs pretty much full support for all her daily living needs. While impaired physically, she is a very bright & humorous woman.
Our son, Sean, was born in ‘86 and was active in all things sports growing up. While attending OU, he decided to join the Marine Corps (and got his degree from OU several years later). He worked as a civilian contractor in Afghanistan for several years before he got married and settled down in Washington state.
Not wanting to be long distance grandparents, we followed him to Washington in 2012. We now live in Lakewood, WA and have one grandson and two step granddaughters.
Steve spent 45 or so years working as a project manager primarily in the telecom industry. Upon retiring, we owned a business designing & installing custom closets & garage “mancaves”. That dream was a casualty of covid… so Steve has given Kathy a break from being Megan’s primary caregiver (after 40 years) and enjoys his time with Megan and our 3 dogs & 2 cats!!
